III. Stereotypes, Routines, and Control
[Replacement by: Sopho Tremis]
===========
1) Let's start with simple mind experiment. Think about your week, each day and stereotypes you follow. It will start from very morning, all the way to nightly rest.
How did you form these routines? Why do you follow them? Are they truly helpful?
Think about the control of your life; Are you a smoker? Maybe avid coffee/tea drinker (cannot start your day without cap)? Are you a planner or more chaotic person?
2) Your task will be to write down all your routines and add value to them. For example "brushing teeth, every morning after breakfast, high value due to medical reasons". Identify what you're doing and why. Perform careful analysis of your schedule (take your time).
3) Some stereotypes are necessary, others are cumbersome and some are outright harmful. Now that you perform analysis, let's talk about control. Sith is someone who is not swayed by the tides of repetition; someone who develops enough power to gain grip over his/hers life.
This will be your task - create schedule; one which allows you to divide time as needed.
a) Time for work
b) Time for relaxation
c) Time for studying
d) Time for self-reflection (or perhaps our course here)
e) ...
Form this schedule based on your preference; based on what you think, will give you most control over your life.
